Last jobs of the Season

So here we are in October. Only a few more things to do before the club shuts down for the year.

This last week we took delivery of a ton of loam and some grass seed - need to repair the square after quite a lot of use this year. Next job is to hire a hollow tines spiker to make sure the loam doesn't just sit on the top of the square but mixes in with the exisitng soil. The last time we used a spiker like this the pitch didn't play that well the next season - we will have to see how it goes next year!!
Next weekend is the presentation evening (AKA curry night) - looking forward to that one!!
